| Bio | Natalie Jacobs is a transplant from New York. While there, she spent several years at a firm formerly known as Desgrippes Gobé and Associates where she created branded programs and packaging for clients such as Coca-Cola, The Limited Brands, and Gatorade. She was also a Design Director at Revlon, reinventing brands within the Revlon line of products. Jacobs went on to consult at The Arnell Group, Desgrippes Gobé, Landor, and Raison Pure. Upon moving to Austin in 2004, she took a position with Design Edge designing brand graphics for clients such as Dell and S.C. Johnson. In 2008, Jacobs became a co-founder of Platypus Strategic Creative, Inc. Her passions continue to revolve around brand positioning and designing the brand image, packaging programs, retail environments, and websites for broad range of clients. Platypus has a client roster which includes businesses within technology, health and beauty, food and beverage, clothing and sporting goods industries (which also makes for an interesting and random collection of factoids). It is also comprised of established companies as well as start-ups both in Austin and New York. |
