| Bio | Riley makes domain-driven, database-backed software for a variety of platforms. He’s currently working on web applications in Ruby on Rails. He has also worked in Java, Python, C, Objective C, PHP and Perl, and developed for Mac OS X and Palm OS. Riley grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, and later moved to Seattle, Washington where he worked for Amazon.com. He developed the customizable database architecture used by Rhode Island’s BatchBlue Software. When he’s not building software, Riley likes to play guitar, travel, take photographs and study foreign languages. He arrived in Austin, Texas in September 2009, after seven months learning Spanish and teaching English in Guatemala. |
