| Bio | I’m Shelly, Midwestern girl who was born and raised in Iowa. I’m Conjunctured’s community manager, which means I’ll feed you lots of coffee, make sure you’re comfortable in the space, and…let’s be real – I’ll probably invite you to a happy hour or three. I graduated from Iowa State University with a degree in marketing and journalism, then worked for Principal Financial and ITAGroup before realizing the 9 to 5 wasn’t for me. In September 2009, I moved to Austin and continued writing on a freelance basis. I’m currently working for a variety of companies around the Austin area, creating blog posts, news articles, website content, marketing materials, and more. I also work with clients to plan and implement their social media and SEO campaigns. When I’m not enjoying the awesome people at Conjunctured, I like spending my time exploring the city, running & biking, and discovering Austin’s awesome bars and restaurants. Oh, and I think everyone in the world should have access to breakfast tacos. |
