Coworking & Conjunctured History

Coworking is a global trend where freelancers, entrepreneurs, and other mobile workers come together to work in the same space. These mobile workers want to remain independent, but have hit a wall working in isolation at home. Coworking allows them to be part of a community of like-minded individuals with whom they can share ideas, trade business leads, foster business partnerships, and create friendships.

Coworking spaces are less like an executive suite, and more like a community organization. Community and collaboration are at the heart of the coworking movement.

Conjunctured was born in July 2008 from the coworking movement that started in San Francisco in 2007. Since its origination, the popularity of coworking has spread like wildfire. Coworking spaces can now be found in pretty much every major city in the US. Conjunctured was the third coworking space to open in Texas, closely following Creative Space in College Station and Caroline Collective in Houston.

Conjunctured is a coworking space with a growing community of freelancers, entrepreneurs, and mobile workers who have grown tired of working alone. Along with the community aspect of coworking, Conjunctured provides all the essentials of a productive office environment:
